I do not know why you chose to make Celestia so unresponsiveness to Spike's requests but... if I am to employ my literate sense, and I am guessing here, it so much seems to me that she is not helping him because his quest, whatever it is he must leave Equestria to do, must be one to perform on his own: he must find out the leads and all if he is to succeed in bringing Twilight back, right?

I really did like chapter 9. That one I could open. I feel terrible for poor Spike.
